I built the first one for myself.
I'm Dylan Lennon, a real estate broker in Asheville. In 2023 I started GayAsheville.com because the LGBTQ+ relocation info out there was thin and stale, and I wanted something that sounded like a person who actually lives here.
It grew into neighborhood guides, a local business directory and a weekly newsletter. Then I rebuilt it as an engine so a second city could run on the same code. GayDurham is that second city. GayMoves is how I hand the same setup to one agent in each city.

Questions agents ask me
Will this bring me clients?
I can't promise you leads, clients or closed deals, and I'd be careful with anyone who does. What you get is the site, the CRM, the newsletter and the city. Being the face of it is the part only you can do.
What does one agent per city mean?
Each city has one partner. Once a city is claimed it shows as taken on the cities page and I stop taking claims for it.
What does it cost?
$299/month for the first 10 cities (founding partners), then $399/month. Every partnership is a 12-month term.
What happens to the newsletter list if I leave?
The newsletter list stays with GayMoves, so readers in that city keep getting their weekly issue. Everything else about leaving is spelled out in the partner agreement, and I'll walk you through it on our call before you sign anything.
My city is not on the list.
Put it in the form anyway. The list is where I'm starting, not a limit. I'll look at your city and get back to you either way.
How do you handle Fair Housing?
Every Gay [City] site describes places, amenities and things to do, never who should live where. The engine checks page copy for wording that doesn't belong, and every footer carries the Equal Housing Opportunity notice.
